Alumni and Community Services
LSU Vet Med alumni, veterinary, health care, and legal professionals are invited and encouraged to use the services of the LSU Vet Med Library. Visiting patrons may use all library resources, including print and electronic books, journals, and audiovisual materials, as well as the public computers, scanner and reference services, during the LSU Vet Med Library hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed holidays).
Due to licensing restrictions, access to electronic resources off-site is limited to current LSU Vet Med faculty, staff, and students only. LSU’s policy states that graduating student privileges expire on graduation day.
Non-LSU affiliated patrons unable to visit the LSU Vet Med Library may request literature searches, articles, or book chapters by emailing svmlibrary@lsu.edu or by calling 225-578-9800. Please refer to the service fee chart below.
Dean's Circle members receive library services, such as literature searches and document delivery, free of charge.
